Update on School Arrangements 2020/2021

Dear Parent(s) / Guardian(s),

Due to Covid-19 we ask that the following procedures be followed for the foreseeable future. These may need to be amended or added to from time to time and these updates will be available on the school website.

  • We kindly ask all parents/guardians to refrain from calling to the school without an appointment.
  • All parents to contact the school via email on info@ceh.ie or on 059/6471198.

This letter will be emailed or posted to you.

  2. Post this form to the school and it will be returned to you via post on completion.

Forgotten Items from home

We ask students to bring all items needed for classes e.g. lunch, money, books etc.

Unfortunately it is not possible for us to accept any items in the office this year. If you need to leave an item into the school for your son/daughter please place it in the drop box outside the main entrance and let your child know you have placed it in the box.

From Monday, if a student forgets, loses or breaks their mask they can purchase either a disposable mask for .50c, or a washable mask for €1, from the school office.

Early Departures - If a parent has to collect a student early

Please try to keep early departures to a minimum.

We encourage parents where possible to collect at break time or lunchtimes only.

If however this is not possible please collect at the break of class.

However, if you need to collect a student early please contact the school via email in advance of collection.

Please mark the subject as "Early Departure”.

Please also include student’s name/class/date & time of collection e.g. (Mary Smith 3rd year to be collected on Mon Sept 14th at 1.10pm).

When the email is received it may be followed by a phone call for verification purposes.
In the email you must also let us know - the name of the person (if not a parent) collecting the student and a parent contact number.

Your son/daughter must remember to be in reception at the correct time for collection, where they will be signed out by a member of staff

If a student feels unwell

We will contact parents/guardians to arrange collection.

We regret that these new procedures are necessary but I'm sure you will agree that the health and safety of the school population and their families are of utmost importance and we need to keep this as our priority.
